Our Team

Chrise joined the Labuan office in 2023 and works on corporate administration for client companies. Before Zitadelle, Chrise spent two years as a senior payments executive at Deriv, the online trading broker, in Labuan. Chrise studied at Universiti Putra Malaysia.

Mae joined the Labuan office in August 2026 and supports the client portfolio across company incorporations, licence applications, corporate filings, and KYC and AML/CFT documentation. From 2019 Mae held administrative roles in Kota Kinabalu, most recently running office administration, payroll, and licence and insurance renewals at Kingtech Systemation.

Norshiela handles accounting and finance for ZAG MY Limited, the group's Labuan entity, and joined in 2025. The five years before that were spent as an account executive at Brighton Management Limited in Labuan, after a period as a personal financial advisor at Maybank. Norshiela holds a bachelor's degree in International Business (Hons), majoring in International Finance, from Universiti Malaysia Sabah.

Alex has directed Zitadelle since 2018 and handles the firm's most complex engagements directly, including regulator correspondence and transaction due diligence. Alex has been an executive director of a Cyprus Investment Firm since 2013, after business development at Swissquote Bank and MIG Bank and FX sales at GAIN Capital. Alex passed CySEC's advanced examination on the financial services legal framework in 2015, holds the CISI financial regulation certificate and an MSc in Finance and Business Management from the University of Bedfordshire, and has been a partner at HRFinEase since 2024.

Valeria has handled Zitadelle's Cyprus accounting and tax work since 2018: bookkeeping, IFRS financial statements, VAT and VIES returns, and correspondence with the Tax Department and Social Insurance. Before that Valeria was financial controller for the Unlimint group in Limassol, and spent three years as an external auditor at LSTS Audit Services and LIS Primus Audit and Tax. Valeria is an ACCA member with an MBA from the University of Nicosia.

Jonathan has worked in the online FX and CFD industry since 2005 and has partnered with Zitadelle since 2019. Jonathan founded Atomiq Consulting in 2014 to advise FX brokers, liquidity providers and software firms, and has been an independent director of FDCTech, a brokerage technology company, since 2021. Earlier roles include director of training at Boston Technologies and five years at FXCM in New York and Dallas, ending with the launch of its Berlin office.
